Return & Refund Policy

This Subscription Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to paid SkillNode subscriptions. SkillNode provides digital subscription services and does not sell or ship physical goods.

Billing periods and taxes

Premium is offered monthly or annually in Canadian dollars. Annual subscriptions are paid upfront. Applicable taxes are calculated and added during Stripe Checkout. Student Premium is the same Premium service at a 50% discount for accounts that meet the verified academic-email requirements when subscribing.

Cancellation

You may cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal in Settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and Premium access continues until that date. Canceling does not automatically delete your account.

Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused time, plan cancellation, or account deletion, except where required by applicable law or where SkillNode verifies a billing error. Contact support promptly if you believe you were charged incorrectly.

Payment failure

If a renewal payment fails, SkillNode may provide a three-day access grace period while Stripe retries payment or you update your payment method. If payment is not restored, the account returns to Free when the grace period ends.

Documents after a paid period ends

Eligible documents created under a paid plan remain read-only and downloadable for an additional 30 days after paid access ends. Documents created after downgrade follow the Free retention period. Base resumes are separate profile assets and do not expire under this policy.

Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits a non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable Canadian consumer-protection law. This policy should receive legal and accounting review before live billing is enabled.
